Who We Are

A trust founded to serve, not to profit.

Akshara Charitable Trust was established on 6th March 2020 in Bangalore as a Public Charitable Trust under the Indian Trust Act, 1882, with an initial corpus contributed by its founder trustee. It is registered with the Income Tax Department (PAN: AAHTA9161F) and files its returns as an Association of Persons every year.

No trustee, member or committee official may personally benefit from the Trust's funds or income. Every rupee raised is directed back into the Trust's charitable objects — education, vocational training, health, rural development, environment and social welfare — for the benefit of the public at large.
