Founding Trustee

Sri Rahul Gowda N.A

S/o Mr. Anjinappa R. Aged 27 at the time the Trust Deed was executed in 2020, and resident at the Trust's registered address in Hebbal, Kempapura, Bangalore. He personally drafted the Trust Deed and remains the Trust's Managing Trustee.

Nature of the Trust

A Public Trust for educational, social, cultural, charitable and economic welfare purposes.

Charitable Clause

Benefits are open to all sections of society, with no bar on caste, colour or sex, per the Income Tax Act, 1961.

No Private Benefit

Trust funds or income cannot personally benefit any trustee; investments may only generate income for the Trust's welfare programmes.

Amendment Clause

No amendment may conflict with Sections 2(15), 11, 12, 12A, 13, 80G or 30 of the Income Tax Act, 1961; amendments require prior Income Tax Commissioner approval.

Indemnity

Trustees are indemnified for actions taken in good faith and within their authority.

Dissolution

On winding up, remaining assets transfer to another 80G/35-recognised charitable trust — never distributed to trustees or committee members.

Tax registration & NGO Darpan. The Trust holds provisional registration under Section 332(8) (Unique Registration Number AAHTA9161FE20261, the Income-tax Act, 2025's equivalent of the erstwhile Section 12A) and provisional approval under Section 354(4) (Unique Registration Number AAHTA9161FF20261, the equivalent of the erstwhile Section 80G) — both valid from TY 2026-27 to TY 2028-29 — meaning donations to the Trust are eligible for tax deduction. The Trust is also listed on NITI Aayog's NGO Darpan portal (ID: KA/2026/1183267) and intends to register with the Ministry of Home Affairs under FCRA once eligible. Books of accounts are maintained and audited annually by a Chartered Accountant after the close of each financial year.
Funds & Financial Management

How the Trust is funded and run

Sources of Funds

Member subscriptions, cultural-programme proceeds, loans or deposits from banks, companies, individuals, firms and public trusts, donations, gifts, government grants (state and central), and foreign contributions.

Foreign Contributions

Handled under FCRA 1976 through a separate dedicated bank account, with NIL returns filed when applicable.

Investment & Borrowing

Funds are invested per Sections 13(1)(d) and 11(5) of the Income Tax Act, 1961. The Managing Trustee is authorised to borrow via loans, deposits or debentures on suitable terms.

Signing Authority

The Managing Trustee operates local bank accounts individually; foreign-transaction accounts require a joint signature with the second founder trustee.

Board Meetings

The Board meets at least once every three months. Quorum is 2 trustees or 60% of total members, whichever is greater, with decisions by simple majority and one week's advance notice.

Correspondence

All official correspondence is carried out under the signature of the Managing Trustee or an authorised signatory.
